First, I must apologize for not posting regularly as of late. I started a short-term legal project last week, so with that, my life became a lot busier! So while I attempt to grasp my new schedule, here’s my quick two cents on makeup brushes – care and my brush picks – to satisfy your possible beauty reading needs.
Since Hakim had to be in meetings the entire time we were in NYC, I was on my own to explore the city for two days. And wow, I saw a lot. Times Square, the subway system (I was lost twice!), SoHo, Chelsea, Meatpacking District, Central Park, Halal food and a NYC hot dog, and all the interesting people I met…
So I just came back from a little whirlwind trip to New Jersey and NYC! It was a last minute tag-along with Hakim, who was traveling there for business. We had a wonderful time in Jersey with Hakim’s brother, Tariq, and his fiancée, Michelle. And I had my taste of NYC for two days, which included catching up over drinks and tapas with my dear friend, Anna, shopping in SoHo, and sitting by Ethan Hawke (or Mark McGrath, the singer from Sugar Ray?) during lunch in the Meatpacking District, among other things.
